Hola Amigoes!

This is my first attempt at blogging, so spare any mistake during the course.

So, I decided to write about my new-found passion- Photography. I don't have a decent camera to start with, but hey, I do have an internet connection which has helped me pick up a couple of tips for photography. The topic today I am about to ramble on is something called the Rule of Thirds. The reason I started with this is because I found this rule really fascinating, and which had never occurred to me on my previous escapades.

I have, interestingly noticed that people when using a camera (be it a point and shoot or a simple phone camera) usually tend to focus the subject they want to shoot in the center of the frame. Heck, I used to do that too. But from what I read and realised, to make your photos to look interesting, the objects are shifted off the center. This gives a nice effect and prevents the subject from dividing the scene/frame into two parts.

Though I do not know the technicality and the reason why this happens to give the photo a good effect, but I did try it to get some amazing effects. So try shooting your friend with him perched off the center of the scene. :) Try it out, and leave a comment. :)
